I have been teaching French locally for over three years. Clients are varied - I teach two young boys who have already learned a lot of French from their mother - these lessons have to be fun to keep them engaged - we play a lot of games and I introduced grammar while we play. I teach school students of various ages for exams and results have been very very good. Earlier this year I taught management staff of a large oil infrastructure company in Sutton. Here I taught 4 groups ranging from relative beginners to advanced plus some one to one with the company CEO.

My approach to teaching depends entirely on the clients abilities and aims. I am able to help individuals with techniques and practice to iron out problems and explain specific grammatical points. I also studied for the CLTA certificate at International House in London - which I passed. I am able to plan and prepare appropriate lessons using the communicative techinique for groups at any level.

I also organise a local French club on monday evenings. Some very interesting local professionals attend the beginners and the advanced classes - classes are lively and educational. Its not a general conversation class in a cafe or bar. I hire a very nice venue and I plan the lessons and we discuss points of grammar and choose interesting topics. This way I make sure everyone gets involved and gets something out of it. Feedback has been very good.

Availability: I teach at various times over the week but have some slots free - if you are interested I`m sure we could work something out. I still have a few after school slots for KS3, GSCE or A level on some days. Apart from monday evenings I have some hours free and Saturday is also a possibility.

Experience: i have been teaching for 3 years. I teach all ages and all abilities locally on a one to one basis. I am also employed by Babel Group and teach all levels of French to management staff of a large company based in Sutton that has French connections - Subsea 7.
