I have a natural aptitude for teaching. I instinctively know how to break down concepts in to their simplest form; ensure that these are thoroughly understood before adding extra complexity. I do this at a pace which is appropriate for the individual child so that the process of learning is stress-free and enjoyable!
Preparation for entrance exams involves teaching children strategies with simple, repeatable steps which lead to the right answer.
Lots of practice makes these processes easier, quicker and less prone to error.
My approach is friendly, encouraging and patient.
I love teaching and the reward I get from seeing my students grow in confidence with regard to their learning.

Experience: I have tutored several children at Key Stage 3.
My students have told me that they enjoy school more, due to their new-found confidence and competence.
One child, who dreaded Maths when we first started working together, recently declared that Maths was now her favourite subject!
Parents have also reported back to me that school teachers have noticed much improved academic performance.
