I have been tutoring for several years and am a qualified teacher and SENDCO who aims to meet the needs of my students in a supportive manner to ensure that they will make progress. I aim to make learning as relaxed and fun as possible, to help your child enjoy tutoring. I am kind and patient and take time to get to know my students and build a relationship with them. I find this makes it easier to assess exactly where they are and where they need to get to in terms of progress. I am very experienced with SEND students who have additional needs such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, anxiety, ADHD and autism and appreciate there is not one way of learning-everyone has their own unique style and preferences so what helps one student, won`t necessarily help another. Therefore, I aim to match my lessons to your child`s strengths so that they make progress faster than in their normal lessons.

Experience: I have been tutoring for 10 years and marked exams such as the KS2 English Sats and GCSE Geography so am aware of what examiners are looking for. I have also tutored students for entrance exams for private schools. I qualified as a primary school teacher but have also taught secondary, in special schools and in independent schools. I currently teach special needs students in a secondary school part time.
