I am a fully-qualified science teacher with extensive experience in teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 Maths and Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 science.

I have taught Key Stage 5 Physics for 6 years, teaching AQA/ Edexcel A level Physics and Oxford International Baccalaureate Physics.

I have taught in OFSTED Outstanding state schools, and an award winning private international school in the UAE.

I bring my considerable class-room skill and pedagogical techniques to every tuition session, I am a lifelong learner, who alongside teaching full time, dedicates significant time to self-study of mathematics and physics.

Experience: I have six years experience teaching science at KS3, 4 and 5 level. I have worked in Ofsted outstanding state schools and have worked abroad in an award winning private international school. I have worked in both a classroom teacher and Head of Physics role.

My wide ranging experience has equipped me with the tools required to rapidly understand the relative strengths and weaknesses of my students such that I am able to tailor my teaching to their needs and they are then able to fulfil their full potential in examinations.

Prior to working as a full-time teacher I had two years worth of experience as a Mathematics tutor at KS4 level.

Over the years I have taught students across a wide range of ability levels - my teaching techniques have been honed in the classroom and allow me to provide students with the tools they need to succeed.

During my lessons students are provided with PowerPoint/ google slides presentations, I provide past paper questions and worked examples. Parents, that are interested, are provided with a monthly progress report. I use collaborative whiteboard software that allows me and my students to work through questions together and identify misconceptions where and when they arise.
