Hey guys!

I`m Lewis: an approachable and friendly tutor, based in the city of Durham. I am a Law student at Durham university, and achieved A* in English Literature, A* in Economics and A in Geography for my A-Levels in 2018.

I tutor my students in English (both Literature and Language) and also Geography, including primary school, GCSEs and A-Levels. I can also assist with other skills such as time management, revision hints/advice etc and important exam preparation.

I have also experience in teaching students for the 11+ exams- which is needed for most Grammar schools across the country. Should your son/daughter be in Year 4/5 and wish to have some tutoring for these exams- please feel free to get in touch.

My approach to tutoring is fresh and contemporary, using many interactive videos and other tools, as well as incorporating real-life examples into the sessions.

Whether it`s an issue on a specific topic that you`re struggling with, or indeed wish to be assisted with revision for important forthcoming exams (i.e. GCSE exams or 11+ exams), please get in touch.

Availability: I tutor at your the students home. I can travel 5-10 miles away from the centre of Durham.

I am extremely flexible with my University timetable, but evenings tend to be more mutually suitable for both myself and the student.

Experience: I have experience tutoring English specifically for 11+ examinations- successfully assisted several students into passing their 11+ exams.

Tutor specifically in English Literature and English Language up to GCSE level, and also Geography GCSE.

I lead the Geography help sessions for GCSE at my high school, where I assisted with GCSE revision.

I am also a Director of a children`s mental health charity in Lancashire.
