Information about Gavin
I am a GCSE and A-Level Mathematics teacher at a UK-leading independent college in Central London. I have a passion for teaching maths, and have experience teaching pupils with a wide range of abilities. My educational background includes studying maths and statistics at the University of Edinburgh, an undergraduate degree at King`s College London, and a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics at the UCL Institute of Education. I am based between Brockley and Mayfair, though I am willing to travel.
Availability: I am available evenings and weekends during term-time, weekdays outside of term-time.
Willing to travel: 15 miles
Experience: I have extensive experience tutoring at GCSE level, A-Level maths and further maths, and statistics at university level. I have experience working with students with SEN, including ASD, and will tailor my tuition to adapt to these needs where appropriate
I am a professional and empathetic tutor, and understand the importance of a truly tailored approach to students` specific educational requirements. I have access to an extensive selection of excellent resources, and have experience utilising to great effect maths technology in my teaching.

I had a great experience with Gavin during the lead up to my A Level Maths exams earlier this year; he was truly a fantastic tutor. He would ask me exactly what it was I needed help with and address those issues directly. He helped me grasp concepts that I had never been able to and built up my confidence in areas that I had been struggling with.
It was largely due to the work that I did with Gavin in Statistics (S1) and Core 4 (C4) that allowed me to achieve a high A grade in my Maths A level, and I am very thankful that I came across a tutor as good as Gavin.
Seriously, he really was a massive help and I couldn`t recommend him enough. Anyone looking for a quality maths tutor, Gavin`s your man!
