Muhammad Habibur

I am passionate about helping young people with educational attainment. I take pride in being able to empower young people in fulfilling their potential. A strong grounding in numeracy and literacy is the key to academic success. Having been through the education system, enjoyed a successful career in education, and experienced teaching students of varying abilities I have an insight into learning and teaching techniques.

I have taught young people including my own children and find it to be thoroughly satisfying. Children’s learning, improvement and progression is the most important thing for me.

Availability: Currently available on Mon, Tue, Wed evenings and Sun (morning or afternoon).

Experience: I have a honours degree in engineering and two master degrees in computer science and education. I have taught mainly adults in a range of subjects, including mathematics, literacy, IT, programming and problem solving.

My experience of teaching numeracy and literacy began when I was doing my A levels. It is something I continued to do with adults who were returning to education through access courses. My career span 28 years in a London University, which included teaching as well as academic guidance. This experience of the higher education sector motivates young people to further and higher study.
