I have spent the majority of my life learning and appreciating the arts, and all the nuances and interesting details that can be found in these subjects. One of my aims is to help make education fun and accessible for everyone, in the hopes that students are able to nurture their interests and have the opportunities to pursue whatever career they want to specialise in. Another is to build confidence in students who may be unsure of their own potential, and the 1-1 benefits of tutoring will allow me to show them their capability in school subjects.

Experience: My academic career thus far has been consistent in improving myself. My undergraduate degree allowed me to delve into a variety of topics in the literature and film realm, as well as subjects such as music, sociology, and psychology, where I was graded multiple 2:1`s and above. My master`s degree furthered this level of understanding, with my current PhD allowing me to present my thesis findings in a variety of symposiums to multiple researchers and writers.

Alongside my doctoral degree, I am currently undertaking a reflective teaching course, which is helping to decolonise the curriculum, and allows me to teach students using a variety of methods. Every student learns differently, and I want to make sure that no individual is left behind just because they learn information in a different way to their peers.
