I graduated from the University of Sunderland with a Honours Degree in Mathematics Education. I have fully Qualified Teacher Status for teaching students aged 11~18 years. I have an extensive knowledge of the application of Mathematics in our modern society. This includes engineering mathematics from 11 years working in Test & Development in the North-East.

My Aim is always to raise the achievements of my students beyond their own expectations with challenging, enjoyable and rewarding tutorials. I specialise in tailor-made tutoring to meet individual needs - Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE). I can support studies in line with your School`s Mathematics Curriculum. I can assess your current skills set, and focus on gaps, weaknesses or subject knowledge enhancement. Whether you are working at Foundation Level or Higher Tier, I can customise tutorials to meet your specific needs. I can support Foundation/Higher Tier studies with all GCSE exam boards including Edexcel and AQA. Help with exam technique, work through past papers, and analyse results to aid further progression.

Availability: Monday to Friday (Early evenings Only)
Saturday and Sunday daytime.

Experience: I have gained valuable teaching experience in a Sunderland Academy across both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE). I have a proven track record of raising student’s attainment in Mathematics. This has been demonstrated across every Secondary age group, and range of abilities. Several of my tutees results have shown rapid progression by improving by three grades from previous mock examinations. My previous teaching role was in an “Engage in Education” programme delivered across four schools in Newcastle. I delivered targeted Mathematics intervention classes, supporting students to reach their full potential.
