Information about Andrea

From those who simply want to up their grades, to those with special educational needs, tutoring can enable students to be their best. My approach facilitates this by tailoring lessons to meet individual student needs, plus spotting problem areas and setting achievable and measurable targets.

I specialise in English at A-Level, GCSE and earlier key stages. I have been teaching the GCSE and A-Level syllabus (all exam boards) for six years, and have a worked with a number of London Councils, supporting students on their Looked After Children programmes. I additionally teach with various prestigious London tutoring agencies.

I have taught English, Drama, Media Studies and Philosophy in schools, universities, prison and one-to-one. I have co-designed and am currently delivering an adult Philosophy course in various London prisons, in collaboration with King’s College London, so am well-versed in teaching adults, who need assistance with further education, in addition to GCSE and A Level students who need tutoring in disciplines outside of English.

I can additionally teach ESOL, having taught English in China for a year, plus being employed by local authorities in 2017/18 to teach English to refugees.

My students get excellent results. For example, my last full-time GCSE English Literature and Language student achieved a level six from previously a four, and my last A level student moved from D to A.

I hope to be have the opportunity to assist you in your studies soon. Please do send me a message if you require any further information.

Andrea has been tutoring my daughter for English and Drama. My daughter thinks she is amazing. Andrea really engages with my daughter and has inspired her to push herself. I can sometimes hear the conversations they have on the subject and I know I couldn`t have chosen a better tutor. Andrea is now also tutoring my other daughter on Psychology which is also going very well. Andrea is very passionate about her lessons puts in a lot of preparation. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Andrea
