Information about Abdelgadir

Currently, I teach Maths for ";[contact detail removed]";

I have always had a passion for Mathematics and its applications to the real world. After completing my engineering degree, I instructed GCSE Maths back in my home country of Sudan. I utilised my passion for the subject to enhance my communication and public-speaking skills. For two academic years, 2017-2019, I led 60 students across years 9, 10, and 11.

I myself scored an A* in Maths and A in Additional Maths for my GCSEs. Firstly, the essence is in grasping the concept of the topic. Secondly, comprehending the “working out” steps and what the examiner wants to see. Last but definitely not least, “Practice, Practice, Practice”. I am motivated by the opportunity to help students develop a toolkit for understanding the subject and tackling exams. I primarily tutor in-person but can also do online.

My teaching style draws from proven research and science-based effective teaching methods. I have long been an advocate of “Active Recall” and “Spaced-repetition” which have always reciprocated high returns on investment for my student-clients. Furthermore, I also highly rate emotional intelligence (EQ) and the human aspect of the teacher-student relationship. In the past, I have always been keen on keeping a warm rapport as well as identifying common points of interest to keep the student engaged with the topic at hand.
