I am an experienced, attentive and patient tutor with strong academic credentials. I have achieved:

- A distinction in my Postgraduate Advanced Computing at Imperial College London
- Achieved a High First (87%) at Durham University (BSc Computer Science with Mathematics) and Finished Top of my Year, receiving a Presidents Award.
- Four A* Grades in A-Level Mathematics, Physics, Further Maths and an EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) achieving 98 % average across Mathematics and Further Mathematics.
- Four A Grades at AS in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Further Mathematics
- Nine A*’s and two A’s at GCSE.

My tutoring style has resulted in strong exam results for my students, as well as instilling academic confidence, capability to deal with pressure and an aptitude for problem solving. I have an adaptable teaching method that takes into account the unique personality, ability and requirements of the student. I have taught all ranges of abilities from those needing emphasis on core material to those looking to be pushed further than the curriculum.

I aim to provide personally-tailored lessons that are engaging and interactive and focus on the pupil feeling comfort so they can take part. Whilst the academic knowledge is important, the ability to manage time successfully; revise effectively; to think critically and logically; cope under stress are all equally as imperative in securing satisfying exam results. I aim to make sure my lessons reflect this.

I am greatly familiar with how the attainment of exam results and a university place can too easily become daunting and over-whelming. This is why I really am here to help with all parts of the process and I endeavour to do my very best for all my students.

Experience: I have been tutoring for five years and with one full year of tutoring full time. I have so far tutored over 62 students at GCSE and A-Level in Sciences and Maths which translates to over 1120 hours of private tutoring experience. Across the board they have progressed tremendously, gained great results (on average exceeding their target grade by two grades) and advanced their personal development.

The combination of my tutoring experience and personal knowledge of the process of performing well at exams allows me to really help my pupils flourish. Through my experience I have seen how consistent practice and under the correct instruction any student can progress in maths and the sciences.
