Hi,
I am a friendly, patient tutor and I thoroughly enjoy helping my students to reach their full potential. I fully believe in in person teaching. I love teaching and being a tutor. I enjoy motivating children to learn and aim to make learning fun and memorable. It is so rewarding when students grow in confidence and make progress in areas they`d previously been struggling to understand.
Being a primary school teacher of 15 years, I am up to date with the latest changes and initiatives being implemented in schools and I have an excellent knowledge of the updated National Curriculum.
I am DFES registered and have a fully up-to-date DBS certificate.
I focus on preparing children for 11+ school entrance exams.
I also work with children to ensure they are confident for the Year 4 Multiplication Check and Key Stage 2 SATs.
I also have sessions available during the day for home educated students. I am more than happy to discuss this if it is something of interest to yourself.
Key Stage 2 SATs preparation
Key Stage 2 Reading / Comprehension skills.
Key Stage 2 Writing.
Key Stage 2 Mathematics.
11-Plus Preparation.
I also support pupils with special educational needs or those who simply need a `boost` to achieve their academic goals.
All sessions will be tailored to meet the needs of your child.

Availability: Monday - Friday. 9am-5pm.
I also have a studio at my home which I use to teach in.

Experience: I have 15 years experience teaching children in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
I am fully involved, have experience and enjoy preparing children for the end of Key Stage Two examination(SATs). I am also experienced in preparing children for 11+ entrance exams.
I have experience of working with children who speak English as an additional language, children who have special needs and gifted and talented children.
I have had huge success helping children with a wide range of additional needs.

Kelly has been a fantastic match for my son Jack.
