Hi,

I am a friendly, patient tutor and I thoroughly enjoy helping my students to reach their full potential.

I have a BA Hons degree in English literature and Language and I completed my P.G.C.E in primary teaching with Qualified Teacher Status in 2013.

Due to being a primary school teacher, I am up to date with the latest changes and initiatives being implemented in schools and I have an excellent knowledge of the updated National Curriculum.

I am DFES registered and have a fully up to date CRB clearance, all certificates can be seen.

I am able to tutor your child in the following areas:

Key Stage 1 and 2 Reading / Comprehension skills.
Key Stage 1 and 2 Writing.
Key Stage 1 and 2 Mathematics.
11-Plus Preparation.
I also support pupils with special educational needs or those who simply need a `boost` to achieve their academic goals.

All sessions will be tailored to meet the individual needs of your child.


All new pupils receive an in depth assessment to establish their academic level & identify strengths/weaknesses. From this your child will be given specific learning targets and these are shared and agreed with parents.

Targets are then reviewed to ensure the pupil`s educational goals are met.

Availability: Monday-Fridays 5pm-9pm
Saturdays-Sundays (flexible)
Throughout school holidays.

Willing to travel: Home Only

Experience: I have 7 years experience teaching children in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. I have coordinated P.E, environmental studies and I am currently the Mathematics subject leader at my current school.

I am fully involved, have experience and enjoy preparing children for the end of Key Stage Two examination(SATs).

I have experience of working with children who speak English as an additional language, children who have special needs and gifted and talented children.

I have had huge success helping children with dyslexia & a wide range of similar learning difficulties.
