Examiner & Curriculum Leader for both AQA A Level Business & Edexcel A Level Economics

What I offer is high quality education for exam success. For 6 years, I have been teaching Business & Economics with a focus on exam technique and knowledge retrieval. I deliver this by making sure that these techniques are easily explained through essay structures and immediate feedback. Since becoming an examiner myself for both subjects, I have gained valuable insight into exactly what examiners look for and how students can turn their knowledge into high-scoring answers.

My support is not limited to the hour taught. I aim to be a student’s personal tutor throughout their studies, providing help between lessons when needed. This can include marking work, setting homework, answering questions and offering advice on revision and exam preparation.

We`ll start with a one-hour introductory session to see where you`re currently at and what we need to work on. This will include:

- Knowledge check: A quick assessment to see what you`re confident with and where you might need some extra help.

- Personalised plan: We`ll work out what you need to focus on based on your strengths and what you want to achieve.

- Free revision workbook: You`ll receive a workbook with past-paper questions to help you practise between sessions.
