Examiner & Teacher - AQA A Level Business & Edexcel A Level Economics

Now in my fifth year of teaching, I’m Head of Business Studies as well as an Economics and Business Studies examiner. This gives me valuable insight into exactly what examiners look for and how students can turn their knowledge into high-scoring answers.

I teach GCSE and A-Level Business Studies and A-Level Economics, supporting students with subject knowledge, confidence, essay writing and exam technique. I use proven strategies including mnemonic structures, dual coding and personalised, actionable feedback.

My support is not limited to the hour we spend together. I aim to be a student’s personal tutor throughout their studies, providing help between lessons when needed. This can include marking work, setting homework, answering questions and offering advice on revision and exam preparation.

I have a proven record of helping students exceed expectations. In school, I have successfully taught students in small-group settings that closely resemble one-to-one tutoring, allowing me to identify individual needs and provide focused support.
