Experience: I have been teaching for 14 years in a mix of different settings from inner city to more rural locations. In addition, I have experience teaching overseas. I have also provided booster sessions to help prepare students for SATS within the school setting.

I have experience in teaching writing through Talk4Writing and value the importance of modelling and shared writing to improve student experiences. Educated to MA level with a BA in Contemporary Arts Writing, I am very interested in writing. I also hold Engineering qualifications which support my understanding of Mathematics. I have experience of the new curriculum in England. I can support students with the use of concrete apparatus before moving onto more abstract methods across the four operations. Furthermore, I have experience in teaching students with English as an additional language and wide range of Special Educational Needs from hearing impairments to ADHD and autism.

I am very creative and open to support students across subjects.
