I am a warm friendly person, who has a love of learning and writes children`s stories and poetry in my spare time.
I believe that every student is a unique individual and learns in their own way, and as such I make and find relevant materials to suit each student.

Availability: I am available during the day for AS, A level students or home tutored children, Wednesday evening and Saturday afternoon at present.

Willing to travel: Home Only

Experience: I have been teaching for 25 years, as a supply teacher, classteacher and private tutor and have worked with children from nursery to Year 6 (including SEN). I am a qualified middle school teacher with foundation stage training too but now mostly work as a tutor due to a disability. I tutor for KS1, KS2, KS3 and foundation stage G.C.S.E. maths, English KS1, KS2, KS3, G.C.S.E., AS and A level English Language and Literature and Literature courses, History G.C.S.E, AS and A level.
I have tutored successfully for these exams over numerous years and have had excellent results. I have also tutored for the 11+ entrants exams and my student last year gained an acedemic scholarship.My younger students have all made excellent progress and some are working at levels well beyond their classroom year group.
In addition, I have also taught English as a foreign Language for 10 years in various language schools in Eastbourne. The age range varied from 6-74 and contained beginners,elementary, pre-intermediate, intermediate, upper intermediate and advance students. I also taught the occasional business English class and invigilated exams.
As an A level tutor, I have even marked course work when the classteacher was unable to do so.
