Information about Elspeth

I am 27 and I am a fully funded PhD student in Archaeology, I started in September 2015 with supervisors in both Reading and Exeter University. I graduated from Reading University with a First Class/Distinction Masters degree in Geoarchaeology in 2014. I have been the Geoarchaeological and Environmental Manager of the internationally renowned Reading University Field School for the last 3 years where I have taught teams of students and trained many placements. My wide ranging academic and practical career with my theoretical experience marks me as a versatile tutor and I enjoy instilling this kind of academic ambition in my tutees.

My hobbies include caving, hiking, tennis and running, I am active and enjoy being outside, I completed four half marathons in the last year. I was also president of the Caving Club at Reading University in 2012 and I enjoy reading, cooking and socialising with family and friends.
