I am a British woman, born in Yorkshire. At 18 I moved to Warwick to study Physics and shortly after to London for my MSc in Geoscience. My love of science continued and I from 2014-2019 I completed my PhD at UCL. It was at this time I started private tutoring in Maths and Science and really enjoyed it! After my PhD I had the wonderful opportunity of lecturing at University College London for 1 year while my PhD advisor was on maternity leave. In 2020 I then moved to Potsdam, Germany. I spent 2 years doing research at the Deutsches GeoForschungsZentrum (one of the largest Geoscience centre in Europe) and then at the start of 2023 I began to move back to teaching. I am now private tutoring online and also teaching Yoga in person.

While I enjoyed lecturing at University College London, my happy place is tutoring 1:1- helping build confidence in subjects they may be intimidated by and making these important subjects fun! My teaching style mainly revolves around being creative (you’re never too old to learn the fun way)! I like to keep your language goals, hobbies and personality in mind when designing classes. And most importantly I pride myself in creating a safe space where you are kind to yourself and are not afraid to get things wrong or ask questions!

Experience: I have several years of private tutoring experience (in-person and online) working with Newman Tuition and Telios Tutors in London. I taught/teach primary and secondary school and GCSE level Maths and Science. After tutoring I lectured at University College London for 1 year.
