Hi! My name is Laiba, and I am a 21 year old Medical Student!
I tutor mainly Science, Maths, Psychology and English, my favourite subjects. I enjoy just how creative English can be, from narrating our own stories down to bagging those marks for crafting detailed descri ptions that bring our pieces to life!
Living in the world of medicine, Science is intertwined with my life daily… whether it’s calculating patient dosages, or reading the heart rate on the monitor, it’s something I can’t avoid! So I wondered, why not teach my expertise?

Experience: I’ve been tutoring for over 2 years, working mostly with students aged 10–16 across Psychology, Maths, English, and Science. I’m familiar with AQA and Edexcel exam boards and offer support with both understanding content and exam technique, without feeling overwhelmed.
My teaching style is calm, flexible, and focused on building real understanding - tailored to each student. I use a mix of tools - like interactive activities, targeted practice questions, and real-life examples - I even prefer to dumb things down most of the time! Lessons often begin with a quick recap, followed by reviewing and tailored feedback on homework, ending with step-by-step guidance through new material and time to reflect or ask questions - or to take a breather and chat!
Outside of tutoring, I’m a professional baker for weddings and parties, and I love politics (probably because I love to gossip). I was also a barista at a bubble tea shop for many years, and I like coffee… but then I decided to become a doctor as a side quest ;) I also love psychology, and purely studied it thinking I could read people’s minds - just the way I’m thinking that you’re about to book a demo with me, right about… now!
