A Medicine and Mathematics graduate with strong clinical insight and a genuine interest in healthcare communication, I bring both analytical precision and clear, structured explanation to my tutoring. I support students across English, Maths, and Science, adapting my teaching style to suit individual learning needs and ensure concepts are fully understood.

I focus on tailoring communication to each student, whether that means simplifying complex ideas, building confidence step by step, or reinforcing key fundamentals. Through this approach, I aim not only to improve academic performance but also to develop strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

My experience has also helped me cultivate excellent interpersonal and explanation skills, allowing me to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress.

My teaching methods will ensure that the student has full understanding of a certain topic before moving on whilst working alongside the specification. It entails: mini tests, oral tests, quizzes and worksheets which will be set for homework. This will all be checked thoroughly to make sure that the understanding is gained and progression is being made.

As a teacher I want to show initiative ideas of studying which will help the student achieve their best. I want to also show that studying can be fun when you put your mind it, setting independent goals which in turn will make the student feel more confident with their work.

Experience: I am a tutor with over 10 years of experience, working with students from Year 3 through to Year 11. I support children preparing for 11+, SATs, GCSEs, A-levels, and school interviews, tailoring each lesson to suit their individual needs and learning style.

My focus is on building confidence as well as strong understanding, helping students feel comfortable with their subjects rather than overwhelmed by them. I also guide students in developing good exam habits, including time management and structured thinking, so they can approach exams calmly and perform at their best.

I have supported many students in gaining places at competitive schools such as Sevenoaks, Dulwich College, Eltham College, Townley Grammar, and Newstead Wood, and I take pride in helping each child reach their full potential in a supportive and encouraging environment.
