An enthusiastic science postgraduate with over five years experience of tutoring science and mathematics up to a GCSE standard. Extensive experience in "catching-up" with school curriculum and help to prepare students for exams.

Experience: I have tutored several children between the ages of 10-16 years to prepare for 11+ examinations, school examinations and GCSEs. My teaching method varies from student to student as each individual has a different approach to learning. I ensure that the pace of learning is appropriate for the student, and all fundamental principles of any subject are covered in depth without moving onto challenging topics prematurely. I maintain a learning environment that is positive yet challenging, to ensure students are able to ask questions freely and grow their knowledge.
I have also had extensive experience in "catching-up" with school curriculum and help prepare students for exams in short time frames. I offer focused revision sessions which cover topics where students need additional support.

Vaaraki has been a tremendous tutor for our daughter. Our daughter was struggling with her teacher at school and had fallen behind with the whole curriculum when we searched for a tutor on tutorhunt. She has made great progress with Vaaraki and chemistry is now one of her favourite subjects again. Vaaraki has been structured in her approach, is clear in her explanations and has adapted lessons for our daughter as necessary. We can highly recommend Vaaraki.
