Hi, I’m Anchala. I am currently a Tax Analyst at a Big Four accounting firm and have over 5 years of experience tutoring students from Reception up to Year 6. My primary focus is on 11+ exam preparation, helping students navigate the transition from primary school to their chosen secondary schools with confidence.

I bring the same level of discipline and clarity to my tutoring as I do to my professional career. My goal is to simplify the learning process, ensuring my students feel well-prepared and capable of tackling their exams.

Availability: I offer flexible scheduling to help fit exam preparation into your family’s routine:

Location: Lessons are held either online or at my home.

Frequency: I typically recommend one or two sessions per week, depending on how close the student is to their exam dates.

Experience: While I support students across English and Maths, I have extensive experience in the 11+ entry process, including Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning.

Taster Sessions: We begin with an initial session to assess your child’s current level. For 11+ students, this helps me identify specific gaps in exam technique or subject knowledge so we can create a targeted plan.

Exam Mastery: My lessons go beyond just learning the curriculum. We focus on time management, question analysis, and practising with past papers to ensure students are familiar with the exam format.

Building Independence: I guide students through worked examples until they can solve problems independently. I ask them to explain their logic back to me, which is a key step in mastering 11+ reasoning and problem-solving.

Progress Tracking: You will receive regular feedback on your child`s performance. I set specific homework to reinforce lesson topics and mark it ahead of our next session to ensure we stay on track for exam deadlines
