Information about Tara
I am an experienced tutor with over 500 hours of lessons completed. I have helped many students from all backgrounds to achieve their target grades, with many of them progressing by more than 2 grades within a year. I completed my own A-levels in 2018 so my contemporary knowledge of subjects helps me to provide the most up-to-date information and to build strong rapport with my pupils. I specialise in Business Studies, Sociology and Media Studies but I do also offer EPQ`s and personal statements depending on availability.
Availability: Monday - Thursday after 5pm. I do have some daytime availability on an adhoc basis.

Experience: Over 500 hours teaching across multiple subjects. GCSE, A-level and undergraduate. I first began working with a tutoring agency in 2018 during my first year of University. Since then I have helped more than 50 students with their courses. Many of my students take GCSE lessons and continue into A-level and a couple of them have even continued through to undergraduate level. I am highly experienced using Zoom, Teams and Skype to communicate virtually with my students but I also do enjoy face-to-face lessons too.

Tara is a great tutor. She is really lovely and takes time to explain what you don’t understand. She is very accommodating and explains everything to the highest standard. I highly recommend using her if you are studying business at A-level

Only used for a few lessons. Tara didn’t seem to have the required patience to work with someone with dyslexia who needed lots of explanations

Hi Amanda, throughout our consultation, your daughter`s dyslexia was never mentioned despite me asking for any additional info. This made it difficult for the two hours of lessons that we had to progress and be effective. Unfortunately, the lessons did not work out but I am experienced in working with dyslexic students and am more than happy to be patient with any requirements of my students.
