I am a primary school teacher with over 25 years of experience. I have been tutoring for 13 years and in that time have gained a real insight in what students need in order to pass the eleven plus exam.

I currently run small group lessons for general confidence boosting and improvement in Maths and English, Eleven Plus, entrance exams and SATS preparation. The small group environment encourages children to work at a pace set by the group, involving light-hearted competition in a friendly working environment. I also run eleven plus mock exam mornings which teach the children the importance of exam technique.

This tuition set up, along with attendance at the mock exams has fully prepared my students for the eleven plus exam, resulting in places in the grammar schools of their choice.

Availability: I currently run lessons on a Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evening and limited availability on a Saturday morning.

Experience: Over 20 years experience in both the private and state sector of education and self employed private tutor for 13 years.
