I am an experienced English teacher (11-18) and a senior examiner for GCSE English Language with AQA (having previously examined A-level English Language as well). I have worked with students of a range of abilities and am able to tailor resources and activities to suit your needs.

Availability: I work during school hours and am available between 9.30 and 2.30,Monday to Friday, so that the earliest one hour session I can offer would begin at 9.30 am, and the latest one hour session would begin at 1.30 pm.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I have been a teacher for twenty years and, for fifteen of those, I have worked leading English teams on the Isle of Wight, and in Derby. My experience is in schools teaching 11-18, so that I have delivered GCSE and A-level courses; I also used to examine AQA A-level English Language, and am currently a senior examiner for AQA GCSE English Language (paper 2).
