Hola! Guten Tag! Bonjour! I am a private tutor based in Wimborne, Dorset.
I have an honours degree in Modern Languages and feel very passionate about language learning. I believe you live a new life for every language you learn. I have lived in France and Germany where I became fluent in the respective languages and I taught myself Spanish, then went on to gain a diploma in Spanish with the Open University.

I also taught at a grammar school where I gained experience in teaching Maths GCSE. I have now been tutoring Maths at GCSE level for the last ten years.

I have been preparing students for the 11+ exams for 9 years and have an excellent pass rate. I have all the resources and experience required to help your child pass the 11+.

I am a friendly, confident person who really enjoys teaching and encouraging others to reach their full potential.

I always plan several activities per lesson, as well as a re-test of what was learnt the previous lesson. Lessons are fun and interactive, and relevant to each student`s requirements.

For language lessons: I place an equal importance on vocabulary and grammar so that a student is quickly able to construct sentences in a foreign language, with emphasis on conversational ability. I am very good at explaining things and easy to get along with. I like to encourage students and I believe that anyone can learn a language, no matter your age, ability or previous knowledge!

Experience: I have 10 years experience of private tuition. I have also taught Maths and languages in a grammar school and I have plenty of experience in preparing students for the 11+ exams.
