Having tutored successfully for over 15 years - and with demand for my services outripping my availability - I now run a boutique agency where I can supply specialist tutors in the core subjects of English, maths and science.

Part of my appeal as a tutor is that I combine rigorous quality school experience - having taught at many local primary, secondary, state and independent schools - with the flexibility of being fully self-employed. In contrast, most qualified teachers are unavailable for tuition as they have too much work and responsibility at school.

An asset which draws a lot of parents to me is my training and marking experience for both Pearson-Edexcel and AQA as a GCSE English examiner. Many students and even schools struggle to grapple with the new GCSE (from 2017). With my up-to-date training, I have cutting-edge knowledge of what it takes for students to get the highest marks.

Recently, I have improved my teaching CV by teaching at Leicester’s only National Support School, the Ofsted-outstanding Babington Academy (2016) and spent a year teaching the internationally recognised IB Diploma to college-aged students in Kuwait`s largest international school, ACA (2018).

In summary, I`ve helped hundreds of pupils improve their grammar, master basic skills, prepare for internal assesments and succeed in exams. As a young teacher, in touch with the aspirations of ambitious teenagers, I cut to the chase and coach you in what you need.

Experience: Currently I tutor full time. In recent years I`ve taught English and maths to GCSE level. Schools have recruited me as a Level 6 Booster Maths teacher and one-to-one specialist tutor. I`ve tutored 1-to-1 at schools for 5 years and home tutored for over 10. Upon qualification in 2006, I`ve taught continuously in various private and state primary and secondary schools. I regularly have students, of all ages, from primary school kids who want to get ahead, to adults who need help with English as a second language. My most frequent client is the secondary school student at GCSE age. All are welcome.
