I recently graduated from University College London (UCL) with a MA honours degree (distinction) and first class honours BA in Classics. I understand the difference a patient and supportive role model can have and believe in structuring my approach to be responsive to each student`s needs. As such, I always strive to make make lessons engaging and catered to each individual.

I enjoy viewing and discussing the widespread influence of Classics in films, theatrical productions, and popular literature. Hoping to pass on a bit of this fascination to tutees, I try to flavour sessions with interesting tidbits about Greek and Latin culture. I believe this will make lessons more stimulating, build upon knowledge of the language and perhaps inspire tutees to pursue their own interests!

Experience: I have worked as an English mentor and teaching assistant for junior high students, during which I was responsible for helping pupils` literary and reading skills. My experience taught me the value of establishing a strong foundation in any subject a student studies. By clarifying basic grammatical principles in a simple and understandable way, students felt prepared to tackle harder concepts and gained confidence in their work and beyond.

I have experience tutoring students with little to no experience in Latin.
