I love psychology, and have taught it for over 20 years, with the past 8 years spent teaching A Level Psychology in Sixth Form centres.

I have a excellent academic qualifications including a 1st Class BSc in Psychology (Sussex University) along with a PhD in Psychology (Bristol University). I have worked in university research departments and on clinical trials for drug treatment development whilst teaching in University departments. After a career break to raise my daughters I returned to teach A Level Psychology, something I very much enjoy. I am also an Associate Examiner with AQA.

I strongly believe in helping each student to reach their potential both during their studies and in the important summer examinations. Sessions will be structured to support each individual`s students areas of difficulty while helping their strengths shine through, in my sessions there is no one size fits all approach. After our first session we will produce a plan to ensure that you are supported in the knowledge and skills that will ensure you make significant progress.

Many students find the research methods topic a challenge. With my research background one of my favourite topics is research methods (told you I loved psychology!) If you find this topic challenging, then let me help you make it your best friend in A Level or GCSE psychology so you are exam ready!

I have worked with 100s of sixth form students, so have an ability to quickly put students at ease and help them succeed so they are ready for the next step in their academic journey.

Availability: I am available Monday, Tuesday & Thursday after 6.30pm

Experience: I have 20 years of psychology teaching experience. For the past 6 years I have taught AQA A Level Psychology and tutored at GCSE level. Before this, I worked as a psychology researcher in university departments including teaching at undergraduate degree level.
