I believe in making a difference in the formative years of a child`s development. I hope tutoring will inspire children to become confident individuals in their learning and encourage them to have a hunger to learn more. It is essential that as the practitioner, we inspire pupils beyond what they believe they can achieve and help them to reach their goals.

I am a believer of building positive relationships with individual pupils to be able to get the best out of them; children need to feel able to make mistakes without feeling judged in order for them to progress in their learning.

I am willing to respond to the needs of individual learners as I want to provide inclusive education for all pupils whilst appreciating their bespoke needs. I would also love to help students build their confidence in developing a skill or passing the 11 plus entrance exams.
I previously worked as a Primary School teacher. My experience in the classroom has enabled me to make work purposeful, build positive relationships with children and act upon their interests. Furthermore, I believe being: empathetic, consistent and fair is integral to being able to manage a safe and caring learning environment.
