Information about Victoria

I am an experienced English teacher. I have previously been the Deputy Curriculum Leader for English at a West London secondary school and in my current role I organise English for KS4 (years 10 and 11). I have a strong understanding of the National Curriculum requirements for English from KS3 to KS5. I have an in depth knowledge of the English Language and Literature GCSE specifications for AQA but I have also tutored students in GCSE Edexcel, in addition to A level specification for English Literature (WJEC Eduqas and OCR). I have also been an AQA examiner for English Literature.

I am a patient, passionate and positive tutor. I enjoying seeing my students grow in confidence and progress in their study of English.

Victoria is tutoring my Year 10 daughter for English language and literature GCSEs to be taken next year. We are very impressed - Victoria is structured, knows the syllabus inside out, focuses on assessment objectives, mark schemes etc. At the same time, the lessons are not at all dry and purely exam focused, my daughter is rediscovering her love for English again. Very pleased overall and highly recommend.
