Information about James

Currently studying for a Master`s in Modern History at King`s College, London having completed an undergraduate degree in Politics at the University of Newcastle earlier this year. I am conscientious, organised, articulate and love teaching and being taught.

As a tutor I endeavour to make academic classes fun and engaging, particularly for students who may have difficulty concentrating. I help student find the answers for themselves. I am comfortable sharing essay techniques, explaining aspects of content and making what they learned in class more understandable.

As an academic I believe it’s possible to achieve all your goals with a little hard work and not being afraid to ask for help.  This approach has got me through my GCSE`s, A-Levels and undergraduate Degree. I had countless help along the way from lots of generous spirited and caring people. Ultimately it made me a better student. I hope by asking for my help I can make you a better student too.
