I am a qualified English teacher who has worked in various schools at an `Outstanding` level. I have recently moved to Dickens Heath, Solihull, where I offer English tuition across the board.

I am experienced with most of the exam boards and my time is spent planning and creating high quality resources that reflect the key elements of what each exam will be testing.

I am thorough and professional in my approach to tutoring, and ensure that all students are offered the chance to learn in a way that suits them best, whether this is online or at my home.

Availability: Mondays and Thursdays 1-6pm

Experience: I have been extensively trained at the Institute of Education to be alert to students` needs. My formal education means that I have been influenced by first class pedagogy and approaches to learning as per the 2018 QS rankings, the IOE have been placed first in the world for education for the fifth year running. I am proud of my strengths as they vary to include: Differentiation for All Abilities; Stretch and Challenge; Use of Questioning; Assessment for Learning and Planning Well-Structured Lessons.

I am also happy to share that I have worked at an OFSTED rated ‘Outstanding’ school in London, where I planned and taught effective English schemes of work to Key Stage 3 and 4, and had great results at KS5 with A-Level. This means that I am fully aware of the expectations at different stages of the school career, especially in supporting students through the rigorous changes that have been made to the GCSE and A-Level English Language & Literature syllabus. Additionally, I have tutored in primary schools and tuition centres in London.
