Information about Sharna-kay
I am a passionate teacher of psychology and I love sharing my passion with students.
I will have no more than two tutees per year so that I can fully commit to them as well as the classes I teach at school.
Availability: I tutor online in the evenings only as I teach full time. I will also accommodate wherever possible. Flexible during the school holidays. Please do get in contact to discuss availability.

Experience: I am the Head of Social Sciences at a London School rated outstanding by Ofsted, I am also an experienced examiner. I have an excellent track record of supporting students from U grades to B/C grades - I also know what is necessary to achieve an A*. My students have frequently achieved 100% A*-C over the years.

Sharna-Kay has been a fantastic psychology tutor for my son. In just five lessons, I’ve already seen a real boost in his confidence and willingness to engage with topics he previously found difficult. She creates a calm, reassuring environment where he feels comfortable getting things wrong and asking questions, which has made a huge difference to his learning. Sharna-Kay is very thorough in her approach and always goes back over anything he is unsure about to make sure he fully understands before moving on. As a parent, I really feel that Sharna-Kay genuinely cares about helping her students succeed. She is patient, organised, and clearly passionate about teaching. I’ve also been especially impressed by her willingness to work closely with his school teachers so that the support she provides is consistent and tailored to his needs. Even after only a few sessions, we are extremely pleased with the progress and support she has given him.

She`s been great at building confidence, creating a Good rapport, identifying areas to work on, and has great subject knowledge. Highly recommend and more importantly so would my daughter!

Whilst my son hasn`t had Sharna for a long amount of time, he has already shown great improvement in his understanding of how the papers and questions work. Additionally, Sharna-Kay showed that she takes great care in helping her students succeed.
