Information about Charles
Hi! I graduated in 2018 with a Master of Physics honours (1st class), having studied Physics (AQA A), Maths (Edexcel) and Chemistry (OCR B) at A Level, and English (OCR) at AS Level.
I understand first-hand the difficulty of GCSEs and A Levels, having personally struggled with those levels and the big jump between them. I have a diverse, adaptive, and student-centred approach to my lessons, ensuring that each is tailored to meet individual students` needs. By focusing on the most relevant textbook and exam problems, I help students achieve exam success while still fostering a deep and genuine understanding of and interest in the material.
I am also happy to be contacted for help with homework or any questions throughout the week via email etc., outside of lessons - I don`t restrict questions to the lessons. :)
I can also help with CVs/Personal Statements for university applications.
Availability: I`m currently always available, flexibly. In addition to email and text/call, I can be contacted through WhatsApp, Signal, Telegram and similar alternatives.

Charles has been a fantastic Maths tutor to my son. He provided excellent quality of teaching and support. He went above and beyond to ensure my son understood his topics. My son found him friendly and said that if he did not understand an explanation, Charles would very quickly find an alternative which he then understood. And my son has achieved a fantastic grade for his A level, which helped him gain a place at a Russell Group University.
