Hi, my name is Chi. I`m a specialist Chemistry tutor with a PhD in Chemistry and over 15 years experience as a research scientist and teacher at three Russell Group universities.

My lessons are designed around the needs and aims of each particular student, which we can discuss at or before the first session. Questions are encouraged throughout the lesson, with regular checks on the student`s understanding.

For students who require support with Chemistry throughout the term or year, I take concepts back to basics then use that to build a better understanding so that the students do not need to rely on remembering facts.

My strategy for students preparing for specific exams is to focus on exam technique, working through exam board-specific past papers both to get used to the format and style of questions and to identify gaps in their knowledge.
