Information about Celia
I am currently deputy Head of Modern Foreign Languages at a London school, described in The Times as “the highest performing comprehensive school for boys in the country.” I have 20 years’ experience of teaching French to GCSE and A-Level and have an in-depth knowledge of the AQA examination board. My latest A-level results were 100% A*-C and before that 100*A-B. My last GCSE results (this year’s are not yet out) were 100% 5-9 (71% & 73% gaining grades 7-9 in 2018 and 2019 respectively.)
My lesson observations at my school have been rated outstanding and following a mock Ofsted departmental review by an e-Qualitas consultant, my AS lesson was graded as outstanding. I have always been interested in France and its culture, having spent lots of time there and in French-speaking Switzerland.
Availability: I work part-time so can be flexible about days and times and can tutor in both SW London and W14 area.
