Hi there,

I`m a graduate of King`s College London, where I achieved a First Class Honours with Oral Distinction in German and English Literature. I lived in Berlin for a year as part of my degree, and I love teaching the German language. I also hold a TEFL qualification (from TEFL) in teaching English as a Second Language. Additionally, I will be graduating in August 2021 with a Psychology MSc.

One of the main reasons I love working as a tutor is because I know from first-hand experience the difference that enthusiastic and passionate teachers can make. I carefully tailor each of my lessons to the student`s individual needs and ability and I have a proven track record for helping students achieve their best. In addition to this I am hard-working, reliable and am always prepared to go the extra mile to help my students learn.

My own academic credentials are as follows:
-First Class Honours with Oral Distinction (KCL, 2018),
-A*AA at A Level: English Literature, German, History
-C1/C2 German (CEFR: Common European Framework of Reference) -certificates awarded by DAAD Hamburg (2015) and Erasmus+ (2017). C1/C2 is the highest level of language attainment that you achieve in a foreign language.
-120 hour TEFL certification (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) (2018)

Availability: I have a reasonable amount of flexibility, especially for online lessons.

Experience: -2 years at Advance Tutorial College, an after-school tuition centre in Mill Hill 2012-2014
-Tutoring one-to-one throughout my time at university (2014-2018)
-After graduating, I moved to Thailand for six months where I taught English as a Second Language in a Thai primary school. While I was doing this, I continued to tutor UK students online through [contact details removed] (130+ hours total).
-Since March 2019 I have taught English as a Second Language to refugees through volunteer work. I have also continued to tutor, amassing over 500 hours of tutoring.
