Information about Alessandro
A seasoned Italian and Spanish teacher with a Masters Degree in Modern Languages (English, Spanish), a Masters Programme in Translations and a Teaching Certificate.
I am an enthusiastic person, passionate about everything I do. I easily build rapport with students, have the ability to lead groups, and have ample experience teaching at schools and deliver quality tuitions in Italian and Spanish.
I`ve given lessons to top-tier Ford employees, government employees, and entrepreneurs.
In my career, I have taken specific training courses on topics related to teaching, for which I feel a great vocation, as well as teaching to groups of all ages.
All these courses are outlined in the "Experience" section.
Availability: I am available during the afternoons and evenings on weekdays and all day on weekends for one-to-one or groups tuitions. Mornings can be offered depending on availability.
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I have a Masters Degree in Modern Languages (English, Spanish) and a Masters Programme in Translations. After my graduation, I was granted a Comenius Programme in the Netherlands, which gave me the opportunity to improve my teaching techniques and practices. In that period, I taught English and French conversation classes to pupils aged 11 to 16 as part of my agreement, and at the same time I facilitated a partnership between the Dutch school and an Italian school, giving pupils the possibility to take part in joint educational activities. A year later in Spain, I was awarded my Teaching Certificate and the Spanish Diploma Level C2 (Mastery).
I started teaching classes since I was a
university student. During my stay in Spain I worked in different language schools for more than 6 years, teaching English and Italian lessons to students of all ages, from 3 years old to adulthood.I also gave theatre lessons to primary school children during the academic year, adapting "The Wizard of Oz", and directing the theathre play at the end of the school year.
