Information about Bethany
I live in Beckenham and work at a lovely primary school in Lambeth. I studied my undergraduate degree in Childhood Studies at Aberystwyth University and then moved to London to take a postgraduate teaching degree (PGCE) at UCL. After my PGCE I wanted to continue in education so I began studying a masters at UCL in Curriculum, Pedagogy and Assessment. I have recently achieved my masters and have just started an MBA.

Experience: I have been working with children for over eight years in a variety of settings (nurseries, holiday clubs, tutoring and camp American). I have been a qualified teacher for five years in two different, London inner city schools. I am currently teaching Year 6 but have also taught Year 3 and Year 2 previously. I have very secure subject knowledge of the English curriculum in all areas from Years 1 - 6 and would feel confident helping boost any child`s confidence and ability in any subjects in these year groups. I am currently a reading subject lead at my school and my biggest passion is to get children to love learning. I have a lot of experience working with children who speak English as an additional language, as well as children who have special educational needs.
