I`m a HLTA with 14 years of experience in primary school education.
I have a vast range of experience, teaching whole classes and individuals with SEND.

When I`m not teaching, I spend time with my family (who are now following their own paths) and enjoy travelling and sewing.

Experience: I have a wide range of experience; I have taught full classes of 30 children on a daily basis and also provided one-to-one sessions for children who need additional support. I am used to adapting my teaching style to suit the child`s needs. I have learnt from experience that children learn in different ways and therefore different approaches are necessary - a one size fits all approach doesn`t work for a lot of children.
This was evident with my daughter in her GCSE maths. She was being taught in a set way at school and was told she was going to fail her GCSE maths. After changing the approach and talking her through what she needed to know, she went from a 3 to a final grade of a 6.
I am also tutoring children through the National Tutoring Scheme.
