Information about Melissa
Hello! I am Melissa. I am a qualified teacher (QTS) and am currently a PhD student at Liverpool John Moores University.
Previously, I have studied Biological Sciences (BSc) and Toxicology (MSc) at Lancaster University, and Secondary Science Education (PGCE) at Leeds Beckett. As you can probably tell, I love all aspects of science and I like to think my passion for the subject shines through with my teaching!
I charge a low rate as I believe education should be accessible to everyone. My experience comes from several years of volunteering and teaching 12-18 years military skills and three years tutoring up to A level science.
I enjoy making complicated ideas seem simple and understandable.
Happy to help all ages.
Availability: Free every weekday evening, occasional weekends.
Some weekday mornings and afternoons (just ask).
