I have 27 years experience as a Primary teacher and I have worked with all ages from reception to Year 6. I have also taught 11-16 year old pupils with additional needs supporting them in maths and English. I have taught in year 6 for many years preparing children for SATs and I have been a SATs marker for Maths and Maths lead for school. I have been providing private Maths and English tutoring for 10 years to pupils age 6-16.

SEND I have taught many pupils with EHCPs including speech and language disorders, memory and processing difficulties, as well as physical, social and emotional. For some children the barrier to learning is an adverse life experience or their perception on themselves so I focus on building their self-esteem and growth mindset.
