I am a fully qualified teacher in a primary school. I have been teaching for over 6 years. I am currently designated team leader for English and phonics in my school. I have also been appointed as the staff governor.
I have lots of experience in teaching children, including those with additional needs such as autism, children under speech and language therapy and behavioural difficulties.
I have been tutoring for the last 4 years. I am a dedicated individual who enjoys helping children to progress.
I believe that I can build confidence and enthusiasm and promote a love for learning.

I am fully DBS checked and have my own car. I prefer to tutor at the learners house as it is better for them being somewhere familiar.
I have been tutoring online through zoom and have lots of experience with making the sessions interactive whilst being virtual!

Availability: My timings are flexible but please bare in mind I do teach during the day at school and sometimes have meetings. During school holidays I am particularly flexible and can always do more than one session a week.

Trudy has been working with our son for a couple of weeks. He enjoys and looks forward to the sessions so that is a great start. Too early to comment on effectiveness but I am optimistic and feel we have made a good choice Trudy is also great at communication, very quick to respond and flexible, offering other slots as they become available

Trudy is a very nice and creative tutor. My son Dawid liked her teaching very much and he was looking forward to the next meeting. Contacting Trudy was easy and smooth. We have never had any problems with changing our meetings or telling our expectations about the lessons. I highly recommend Trudy! She`s a good tutor :)

Trudy has been amazing! She’s tapped into how my son learns best. She’s made learning fun for him again! He’s really enjoying his sessions and has come on two-fold with his phonics and numbers in a matter of weeks. These 121 tutoring sessions have really helped support me whilst I’ve been working and struggling to home school my son during COVID-19 and school closures. On top of this Trudy has really helped my son catch up where he seems to have missed out/made slow progress at school over the past year. I’m very relieved and hugely impressed - I highly recommend Trudy! 😊;
