Information about Becky
I enjoy working 1:1 with pupils so that I can determine how they best learn and offer them a personalised experience. This enables pupils to get the most out of sessions and also assists in strengthening their confidence in their own learning.
I am a strong mathematician and enjoy teaching children to apply their mathematical knowledge with confidence. I love reading and using books to inspire writing. I also enjoy teaching grammar and how to use this effectively to draw a reader in.
Availability: I am available most weekday evenings and for the occasional weekend session.

Experience: I have worked in year 6 for the last four years and am well experienced in teaching the new curriculum in preparation for SATs. I have tutored previously in maths and grammar and have also offered support for 11+ tests. I have experience as part of the writing moderation team for Bournemouth and I also have a degree in Psychology and a Masters in Applied Psychology of Intellectual Disabilities.
