Information about Polina
I am a double first-class Cambridge University chemical engineering graduate with four A* grades at A-level (in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry), as well as 11 A* at GCSE. I am offering online tutoring in the above subjects, as well as personal statement advice and Oxbridge application coaching. I am still very familiar with both the A-level and GCSE curriculums and can effectively help prepare students studying Maths, Physics and Chemistry at either level.
As a tutor I am enthusiastic, adaptable and passionate about my subject. I adapt my teaching to the level of the student and their needs, in order to build a strong base which can be reinforced by in depth knowledge.
Availability: I am available mostly on weekends.

Experience: I have been teaching and mentoring students of varying ages and abilities, for over 5 years now. All of my students have made significant progress, with improved exam and revision technique.

My child only had 4 lessons with Polina and for the end of term exam got 97%. I was never involved in any of the lessons nor did I discuss any of the subject matter with Polina. Polina`s interaction was entirely with my child and she was able to explain all concepts clearly and concisely. She made the lessons engaging and fun.

Polina has been super helpful to my daughter. She has been bringing her confidence up and her ability to tackle this subject. Polina is good at explaining complex concepts in a very simple and clear way. My daughter was quite stressed with Maths and been looking forward for it for it to end after a GCSE but now is contemplating doing A-level maths.
