I am a qualified teacher with twenty years of teaching experience. My vision for high quality education lies in the understanding of how an individual child learns. My particular strength as a teacher lies in high expectations from my students as well as enabling my students to get grades higher than their target grades and helping them to believe in themselves to reach to their full potential.
I have a wealth of experience in teaching. I have high standards for myself and my students and demonstrate the expectations to the students I tutor. My particular strengths are in Maths and science and for the past 5 years I have been working with children with high ability in this area and have significantly raised the standard of writing levels and expectations.

I lead using a coaching approach but can also deploy a more robust approach where required, recognising that there can be a time and a place for a more direct approach when the situation requires. I am developing an overview of the whole school`s performance by monitoring standards in all year groups - evaluating progress and supporting in the development of ways to continuously raise standards. I act upon all professional training I receive and endeavour to put it into good effect across the school in terms of my own practice and in disseminating the learning throughout the school.

Availability: Monday to Friday (excluding Tuesdays)
Saturday - 9:00- 1:00 pm

Willing to travel: Home Only

Experience: I have a wealth of experience in primary and secondary school teaching and I specialise in maths and all the science subjestsc (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) up to GCSE & A levels.
I also train students for common entrance exams and 11+ training.
