Former consulting editor to educational publishers and the BBC (Education) and writer/co-writer of numerous educational publications including books for teachers on the teaching of reading and spelling - distributed worldwide. Former Moderator of teacher assessments of KS1 SATS (English, Maths & Science) and trainer in the assessment of English, Maths & Science in KS1/2.

Current work:
-Provider of 11 Plus tuition on Verbal Reasoning/English, Maths, Non-Verbal Reasoning for Reading and Slough grammar schools` entrance exams with high success rate. Special expertise in the development of Creative Writing skills. CEM, GL and Reading Boys School Entrance Exams covered.
-Provider of mock 11 plus exams in May, June, July, August with supporting assessments and suggestions for improvement.
-Assessment of children`s progress in English and Maths
-General Primary English and Maths tuition (Year 4 and above)
