I have been a Primary School Teacher for over 15 years and can`t imagine doing anything else with my life! To watch my pupils have those lightbulb moments and achieve things they thought they couldn`t do is the most rewarding and amazing experience.

I know the curriculum expectations and pedagogy of learning in great depth and have a huge passion for making learning personalised and fun for each student. Learning should make us feel excited!

After an initial assessment, I strive to make each lesson engaging and memorable to fill gaps in learning and move children on with appropriate challenge.

I teach children from ages 4-12, helping students prepare for Phonics Screening, SATs, the 11+ and catching up with the curriculum. I`ve helped children settle into Year 7, working with them to consolidate any areas of the Year 6 curriculum that needs consolidating. After all, Secondary School is tough enough! I`ve taught children with a wide variety of special educational needs including ADD, autism, dyslexia and dyscalculia. Lessons are tailored for your child, working at their pace and in a way which suits their learning style.

I also teach a Year 2 class in a Northamptonshire Primary school which I love and I`m a mum of three children, which keeps me busy! Ultimately, my goal is for children to be happy, enjoy learning, achieve their very best and develop their self-esteem so they believe that they CAN do it!
